UH Novice regatta is an annual regatta organised by United Hospitals' Boat Club, usually in early December.

RVCBC enters it's novice crews every year to compete against other crews that are part of UHBC, comprising of medical students in London. 

​

It is the novice's first regatta of the season and a chance to showcase their talents and win some silverware before the Christmas break.

​

The course depends on the way of the tide, but it is usually  800-1000m, starting at some point between Chiswick bridge and Kew Railway bridge.
